My favourites havé always been Móbius Institutes definition pagé and the Sohré Charts, which wére published during thé first turbomachinery sympósium in 1972 and have since been reproduced in books like Jacksons Practical Vibration Primer and Karassiks Pump Handbook.Anything else thát yall énjoy using that basicaIly correlates vibration charactéristics to faults.

But its not heavy reading, there is a good outline to jump to a specific topic. The author approachés it véry much from á pure practical standpóint, no theory át all (which cán be an advantagé or disadvantage dépending on your pérspetive). They attempt to be very complete, with estimates of probabilities that a given symptom may be associated with a given problem. The column héadings also cover á broader range óf aspects of thé vibration than wé might normally considér. I was just impressed that it seems to be an attempt to do a very thorough job in presenting these types of charts. Unfortunately, they aré also more thán 50 years old and I cant help but think probably not representing the state of the art.
